移民局公布EB5审案手册，审理标准变了吗？
songmenglaw / 0 Comments /2016年11月30日，移民局公布了EB5审案手册（Policy Manual）。可以说，这是继2013年移民局发布完整EB5备忘录以来，最重要的EB5审案标准大曝光。新政策从发布之日起就生效。
之后2016年12月10日，奥巴马总统签署了国会的延长法案，将EB5法案继续原封不动地延长到了2017的4月28日。
相信在明年的4月之前，EB5的申请将再次迎来一波小高峰。结合今年底出台的这份审案手册，宋和孟律师事务所的孟小洁律师带大家来看看EB5的审理标准，现在究竟有哪些需要注意的地方。

EB5 Regional Center Program Extended to April 28, 2017
songmenglaw / 0 Comments /Congress passed a continuing resolution to fund the federal government until April 28, 2017. This bill also extends EB-5 Regional Center, Conrad 30 J Waiver, Non-minister Special Immigrant Religious Worker, and E-Verify programs until the same date.

USCIS Publishes Final Rule For Certain Employment-Based Immigrant and Nonimmigrant Visa Programs
songmenglaw / 0 Comments /USCIS has published a final rule to modernize and improve several aspects of certain employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa programs. USCIS has also amended regulations to better enable U.S. employers to hire and retain certain foreign workers who are beneficiaries of approved employment-based immigrant visa petitions and are waiting to become lawful permanent residents. This rule goes into effect on Jan. 17, 2017.

USCIS Fees Will Increase (Effective Dec. 23, 2016)
songmenglaw / 0 Comments /U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced a final rule adjusting the fees required for most immigration applications and petitions. The new fees will be effective Dec. 23, 2016. Applications and petitions postmarked or filed on or after Dec. 23 must include the new fees or USCIS will not be able to accept them.
