Karina Tapia is a Legal Coordinator at Song & Meng LLP. She assists attorneys and case managers with legal research and documentation preparation for a wide range of cases, including H1B, EB1A, EB1B, L1, and more. Ms. Tapia strives to provide superior service by being attentive to clients’ unique needs and communicating effectively with clients, whether by email, telephone, or in person.

Ms. Tapia received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Affairs from the University of California, Riverside. As an undergraduate, Ms. Tapia received accreditation as an Honors Student. She completed four years in the University of California, Riverside’s Honors Program, submitting a capstone project and presenting at the Undergraduate Research Symposium.

Ms. Tapia is deeply interested in Latin American and American politics, and she utilizes her knowledge to understand the complex interrelationship between politics and immigration in the U.S. She plans to become an immigration attorney and employ her passion, knowledge, and skills to help individuals coming to work or join their families in the U.S.

Ms. Tapia is fluent in both English and Spanish.
