USCIS Will Accept H-1B Petitions for Fiscal Year 2017 Beginning April 1, 2016

U.S. businesses use the H-1B program to employ foreign workers in occupations that require highly specialized knowledge in fields such as science, engineering and computer programming.

STEM OPT Rule Extended Until May 10, 2016
songmenglaw / 0 Comments /The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia granted DHS’s motion for limited relief from the court’s August 12, 2015 order, and ordered that vacatur of the 17-month STEM OPT extension be further stayed from its original deadline of February 12, 2016 for additional 90 days. The DHS now has until May 10, 2016 to complete and issue a proper STEM OPT regulation.
